The e-Government Gateway is a website that provides access to all public services from a single point. The objective of the Gateway is to present the public services to citizens, businesses and public institutions effectively and efficiently with information and communication technologies.

E-Government Gateway is composed of, integrated electronic services, institution list and up-to-date announcements. In this way, users will be able to easily access to the information and services required by their needs.


How Can Citizens Use e-Government Gateway?

Users can use services after accessing the home page of e-Government Gateway using www.turkiye.gov.tr address. Some of the electronic public services provided through the Government Gateway do not require authentication. Authentication types such as password, e-signature or mobile signature are needed for accessing to integrated electronic services requiring personal information access or authentication. Integrated services are accessible in the same page through one authentication (password, e-signature, m-signature, etc.).

In addition, when payment is required for some electronic services (such as taxes, duties, etc.), these payment transactions can be made via e-Government Gateway in a secure environment by courtesy of the payment unit service.


What kind of services are provided in the e-Government Gateway?

The services provided to the citizens through the e-Government Gateway can be generally grouped as follows:

  • Integrated electronic services
  • Payment transactions
  • Shortcuts to institutions and organizations
  • Up-to-date information and announcements
  • Messages from the institutions to the citizens

In addition to this, information and documents sharing among the public institutions is provided by the services provided by the e-Government Gateway.


Where can I get the password?

Şifreyi, şahsen başvuru ile, üzerinde T.C. Kimlik numarasının bulunduğu fotoğraflı kimliğin(nüfus cüzdanı, geçici kimlik belgesi, pasaport, sürücü belgesi, mavi kart, ikamet tezkeresi, süresi dolmamış (geçerli) çalışma izin kartı) ibraz edilerek Yurt içinde PTT Merkez müdürlüklerinden veya yetkili şubelerden alınabilir. Bunun yanı sıra üzerinde “e-Devlet Kapısı şifresi almaya yetkilidir” ibaresi olan vekalet ya da ilgili adli birimlerce temin edilmiş vesayet belgesi aracılığıyla da PTT şubelerinden şifre temin edilebilmektedir.

e-Government Gateway password can be obtained from Embassies or Consulates abroad. Detailed information can be obtained from the related external representations.

Furthermore, a new e-Government password can also be created by entering the e-Government Gateway using m-Signature, e-Signature, e-ID Card or Online Banking options.

After signing in with a password for the first time, you are asked to change your password. In this case, you will be prompted to enter the password you received from PTT (Post Office) and then enter your new password, which will be determined by you and made up of certain criteria (explained in the password change page). After completing these steps, you can sign in to the system with your new password. Please read the warnings on the password-related screen carefully.
